What do they put in those ridiculously overpriced Danish draft beers? Something good, that’s for sure, because some of the most exiting talent of today’s global dance music scene stems from Copenhagen. All of a sudden, ‘we’ talk about the Danish scene that was brought to our attention by the supreme talent of Anders Trentemøller. Since his first gigs in Amsterdam around the turn of the century, Trentemøller has become a global star, composing absolute masterpieces (check out his soul shaking album The Last Resort). But there is more to come from ‘Legoland’. How about the latest Danish sensation Lulu Rouge? Their debut album Bless You is an absolute stunner, merging techno and ambient with pop and world music.
