armada: five years and still going strong

Armin van Buuren’s Armada label went on record and released a three disc box covering the first five years of the label. And what an Armada it has been: Armin and his posse conquered global ground so swiftly that it would do 15th century Spanish warlord Álvaro de Bazán proud. And although the Spanish version was blown to bits along the English coast, it doesn’t seem like Armin’s Armada is about to find its Waterloo anytime soon. With 21 sublabels and 1500 individual releases, Armada has an indestructible base to build on. And as the say on the 100 track box cover: “Bring on the next 5 years!”
