All is one and CHemistry are proud to present you with this new and exciting sound during the Amsterdam Dance Event held in the Westerunie/liefde/terrace. House music is constantly developing. This can be seen as one of the unique drives of this music. A good example of this development is Space Disco. With the maximum feeling, deep baselines, vocals and instruments (space) with a disco-vibe from the 70’s (disco) the focus lies mainly on the dance floor. This is a logical follow up from the maximum electro and the minimal minimal. This sound is on the verge of a large breakthrough and is one of the most valuable additions to the Amsterdam Dance Event. It’s the sounds you shouldn’t miss out on!
Prins Thomas and Todd Terje are the key figures in the Space Disco scene. They will play a back to back 3-hrs set on the 25th of October at the Westerunie. Prins Thomas was simply sensational during the Generations of Love festival at Blijburg Beach. The deephousemaster from the UK, from the well known Atjazz collective and Buzzin’ Fly records, Charles Webster will take you outer space with his sophisticated deephousesound.
The Westerliefde will be turned into an All is One universe. The journey through this All is one night will be launched by Isis and at the end of her set she will be joined by Piet Jan Blauw. The Vinylizes winner Arjuna Schiks will play a live set and you can expect enchanting and hypnotizing DJsets from the Russian bVoice and Dutch Egbert Jan Weeber.
At the terrace we invited ‘the one and only’ Andy Barlow from the successful duo Lamb. Lamb played several times in a sold out and everything but meek Paradiso. On the 25th you can expect a delicious energetic sound with a touch of Lamb.
Usually the Westerunie closes at four, but especially for this ADE event the doors will stay open till six o’clock! Special ‘space’ visuals, acts, decorum are present in three different area’s and every area has his own experience. And last but not least, Chemistry and All is One will ask you to wear something that suits our theme ‘ Space Disco. Think silver, glitters. Think Startrek, John Travolta on XTC, ET, back to the future and Barbarella. Think Leather (cat)suits with highheels, if you can still breath you’re not properly dressed yet… remember that there is no oxygen to where we will take you!
Have we already convinced you that there is nothing better than to be abducted on the 25th? If not, there is more, the line up will be complemented with Chemistry’s usual suspects Marcello, A Hunter and the Mambo Warriors who will al let us hear their interpretation of "ze new sound".
