Amsterdam Dance Event 2008

'Go Dutch' in its homeland: October 25 @ Panama

- in cooperation with 'Sneakerz'

The last official night of the Amsterdam Dance Event, October 25th, will be the climax all clubs have been working towards. Club Panama, together with party concept Sneakerz, will host a purely Dutch concept with international aspirations: ‘Go Dutch’. The Netherlands currently boast a wide variety of electronic dance. Go Dutch brings together the hottest sounds and talented dj’s while putting a lot of effort in presentation too: with Funktion-One sound system and a spectacularly lit dj-booth (from Club LED, where dj’s don’t spin ‘at’ but ‘in’) this will be a night for the true lovers. In The Netherlands they are already seen as main acts instead of talents; Go Dutch believes in the international potency of for example Bart B More, Gregor Salto, Sidney Samson, Skitzofrenix, DJ Madskillz and Oliver Twizt, who will proudly lead the musical way as Go Dutch foremen in the main area of the Panama on the 25th. In the second area, hosted by the monthly concept ‘Addicted’, just the opposite: they are Dutch, usually main acts but the difference is they are known for their international sound! They are Lucien Foort, Baggi Begovic, Youri Donatz, Groovenatics and Addicted’s popular guest from the US: DJ Disciple.
Obviously this night doesn’t just aim to please the Dutch crowd but wants to show the foreign ADE crowd the dj talents The Netherlands have to offer and that they know how to throw party. The ultimate dream is for Go Dutch to represent The Netherlands at acclaimed festivals around the world and at the same time offer Dutch dj talents a springboard to an international career. For that dream to come true the roof will have to blow at the Panama, October 25th!
The Go Dutch concept was created by musicXport.nl, Buma Cultuur and various agencies and labels to further promote the already internationally acclaimed Dutch dance culture abroad. The first edition at UK festival Creamfields already a success, the second at club Panama in Amsterdam, and another edition planned during the Miami Winter Music Conference, end of March 2009 should lead to international festivals taking a liking to the new Dutch sound and make Go Dutch a regular concept at dance events world-wide. Behind the scenes and with local help both in Europe and Asia a lot of work is being done because: "It's time for the world to see just how much talent there is in Holland, by creating a foundation this talent can grow upon."
